The Practice
LA Design Studio was founded in 1995 by Architect Les Abbott with the view to providing a personal, friendly but professional architectural service to discerning clients. Careful consideration for the practical side of architectual design while meeting the individual lifestyle needs of clients has been the hallmark of the designs that he has produced.
Les Abbott’s early background in structural engineering has given him a good understanding of building dynamics and design. Successful projects range from beachfront apartments and executive homes to townhouse and industrial complexes. The practice is based in Cape Town but because he has also been a resident in Fisherhaven over weekends for a number of years, has expanded his practice to the greater Hermanus area as well.
